The great thing about lawn bowls is that it’s also the perfect opportunity to get together with family and friends and have fun. And here at Club Pomona, we offer a wide range of social activities and events, with something for everyone. If you’re looking for a fun afternoon out with your friends, workmates or sports team, how about a session of Barefoot Bowls? No experience is needed and we supply everything you need. Barefoot Bowls is a great idea for a Christmas or birthday party.
From our Thursday night ‘Jag the Joker’ competition; the Friday night membership draws and live music; the great raffles and our Thursday afternoon Social ‘Barefoot Bowls’, you’ll always find something to keep you amused at Club Pomona.
The last Sunday of every month is also our Sunday Funday! Social Barefoot Bowls kick off at 10am, with live music and good vibes from 11am-1pm. We may have the BBQ on for a sausage sizzle or have our local Pomona Fried Chicken food van making all your favourite PFC wraps and burgers. Bring the kids down for a lovely morning of family fun, all ages and experience levels welcome.

Who doesn’t love coming out and listening to some live music?! Every second Friday night from 6-8pm, we invite in some of our amazing local musicians. The Sunshine Coast is blessed with some great talent, check out our events page for upcoming events!
